Our Capability Management Team exists to help our clients translate technological opportunities into reality, with particular strengths in:
Requirements Derivation: The Capability Management Team comprises experienced professionals with backgrounds in our Customers’ business. The Helyx approach to requirements derivation utilizes a combination of Business Process modeling to illustrate needs; formal requirements capture through working groups or client interview to capture specific requirements; and management through use of systems such as DOORS®
Analysis and Management: Captured requirements are referenced against scenarios and agreed models in order to check for requirement duplication or gaps. The establishment and use of formal taxonomies is used to ensure full requirements coherence. Management through formal systems ensures changes to requirement sets are properly documented and a full audit trail established.
Business Analysis and Modelling: Helyx uses a wide range of tools such as the Rational Unified Process (RUP); Enterprise Architect; Websphere® Business Modeler and IBM Rational Pro® to visualize, understand and document business processes and to model the impact of specific requirements.
Procurement Support: The Capability Management Team also provides direct support to Clients’ project teams, bringing both the benefit of personal experience in procurement and that of the Helyx knowledge base. Support typically involves risk analysis, business case derivation, and support to contract negotiations.

Technical Delivery – focused on innovation
Our Technical Delivery team comprises software application developers, infrastructure designers and experienced users of GI in the community. The team develops concepts for the application of GI, including integration with other applications such as intelligence analysis tools and command support applications. It designs GIS strategies and supporting architectures and, in conjunction with system integrators, supports delivery to meet client specifications.
Our Technical Delivery Team has a considerable track record of delivering tailored solutions through the innovative application of technology. The team’s experience covers wide area infrastructures, mobile working, secure messaging and all aspects of network security.
